Couple of years ago I bought a Boss loop pedal to use with my electro acoustic guitar. Problem with this is that the pedal needs to be hooked up to an amplifier in order hear the results. I’ve not used the pedal for a long time because my electric guitar amp is too big to fit in our place. So I was very intrigued when I stumbled across these:

Experimenting with brushes and found some “Dry Media” brushes. Charcoal, pencil type textures. Was good fun doing this – a little rushed but good fun. He’s a cute boy. Runs in the genes.

An illustrator friend kindly gave me his Intuos2 A4 drawing tablet. Had to order a new pen for it which arrived today. Very excited, as this means I can get back into drawing and painting without having to go through the whole rigmarole of paints, materials, brushes etc…

Attended the Jazz Talent charity gig. Was a great evening. Elisa and Jo Caleb were fantastic as usual with fluid sax from Vasilis Xenopoulos, smooth bass from Neil Charles and sublime keys from Ivo Neame.
